Aluminum alloy materials are soft, expensive, and easy to break. Some aluminum alloy products still need subsequent processing, such as wire drawing and anodizing, which are particularly prone to top and scratch during stamping production. The following points should be paid special attention to in mold manufacturing:
1、 Without affecting the number of items, the drilling shall be arranged in the following items as far as possible. However, for products with more holes, one more project can be studied, or the holes can be arranged later.
2、 The aluminum is relatively soft, and the mold is relatively simple. The CNC manufacturer tells you that when designing the die gap, it is appropriate to thicken the gap between the two fabrics by 10%. The straight depth of the blade is 2MM and the taper is 0.8-1.
3、 When bending and forming, the aluminum materials need to be pasted with PE film because the aluminum chips only appear during bending, which will form point damage or indentation. In the rolling and electroplating state, it is better to polish and plate hard chromium on the forming block.
IV. For metal stampings requiring anodic post-treatment, if there is a flattening process, when the temperature is 180 ° C, the product pressure is incomplete, and acid spitting will occur when the pressure is complete. A gap of 0.2-0.3MM shall be left to allow acid to flow out locally. Therefore, during this process, stop blocks should be made to calibrate the mold height.
V Because aluminum is brittle and easy to crack, its unique feature is reverse folding. Therefore, although the crimping is not done, even if it is done, the crimping should be wider and shallower.
VI All aluminum parts must be cut with wire cutting wire to avoid burr and blanking. Aluminum parts are easy to get high temperature. Therefore, the hardness of the punch shall be above 60, and at least SKD11 material shall be used instead of D2 punch of the same quality.
