However, when my country's own CNC ultra-precision machine tool was successfully developed in 1998, Western countries immediately lifted the ban on my country, and my country has now imported a number of ultra-precision machine tools.
my country's Beijing-Machine Tool Research Institute, Aviation Precision-Mechanical Research Institute, Harbin Institute of Technology and other units have now been able to produce several kinds of ultra-precision CNC diamond machine tools, such as the ultra-precision lathe with a processing diameter of 800mm developed by the Beijing Machine Tool Research Institute and the Harbin Institute of Technology. The two machine tools have two-coordinate precision numerical control system and two-coordinate laser online measurement system, which can process aspheric surfaces of revolution; and Harbin Institute of Technology has developed an ultra-precision milling machine for processing KDP crystal large planes. KDP crystals can be used for optical frequency doubling and are important components in high-power laser systems. It must be admitted that in terms of ultra-precision machine tool technology, there is still a considerable gap between us and foreign advanced level, and the quality level of domestic ultra-precision machine tools needs to be further improved.
In terms of large-scale ultra-precision machine tools, currently the United States, Britain, Russia and other countries have large-scale ultra-precision machine tools developed by themselves. However, because my country does not have large-scale ultra-precision machine tools, it is impossible to process large-diameter curved mirrors and other large-scale ultra-precision parts. There are strict restrictions on the export of large ultra-precision parts, which seriously affects the development of my country's national defense cutting-edge technology. Now my country is stepping up the development of vertical ultra-precision machine tools with a diameter of more than 1m.
In terms of multi-function and high-efficiency special-purpose ultra-precision machine tools, my country is basically still blank.
