How To Deal With Abnormal Current Alarm Of CNC Machining Center

Jul 20, 2022

If it keeps appearing, use the multimeter of the CNC machining center to measure whether the transistor module of the main circuit is short-circuited, and replace the transistor module by yourself. If it is not short-circuited, exchange the control board with other axes. If it is transferred with the control board, repair the control board.

If the CNC machining center alarms at high speed and the low speed is normal, there may be a problem with the control board or the motor, which can also be judged by exchanging the servo unit.

Observe whether the alarm is always or occasionally, if the alarm is always the unit or the control board is faulty, otherwise it may be the motor.

CNC machining center high voltage alarm (HVAL red light is on)

Check whether the three-phase 185V input voltage is normal.

Check whether the 1, 2, and 3 AC + and -18V of CN2 are normal.

Exchange the CNC machining center control circuit board, if the fault is transferred with the control board, it is the circuit board fault.

Low voltage alarm? (LVAL red light is on)

The servo control board detects that the main circuit or control circuit voltage is too low, or the detection circuit is faulty.

Check whether the three-phase 185V input voltage of the CNC machining center is too low.

Check whether the 1, 2, and 3 AC + and -18V of CN2 are normal.

Check whether the transistors, diodes, capacitors, etc. of the main circuit are abnormal.

Exchange the control circuit board of the machining center, if the fault is transferred with the control board, the circuit board is faulty.
