1. Rough machining
The main consideration is to increase productivity. Most of the machining allowance of each machining surface is removed, and a fine datum is machined.
2. Semi-finishing
It is mainly to remove the defects that may exist after rough machining and complete the processing of the quadratic surface. A certain machining accuracy must be achieved in order to prepare for the finishing stage and to ensure an appropriate finishing allowance.
3. Finishing stage
In the finishing stage, high cutting speed, small feed, and small cutting depth are mainly used to remove the machining allowance left by semi-finishing, so that the surface of precision mechanical parts can meet the technical requirements of the drawing.
4. Rough surface
Mainly used to reduce surface roughness or strengthen surface processing, mainly used for surface processing with high surface roughness requirements.
5. Ultra-precision machining
Using processing methods such as precision cutting, precision mirror grinding, precision grinding and polishing, the machining accuracy of the workpiece is 0.1-0.01 μm, and the surface roughness value Ra≤0.001 μm.
