Tips Commonly Used in Machine Parts Processing

Nov 08, 2022

The machining process specification is one of the process documents that specify the machining process and operation methods of parts. It is a process document written in the specified form by a more reasonable process and operation method under specific production conditions and used to guide production after approval. So do you know what tips are available in the processing of mechanical parts? Let's share with you today!

1、 During the machining of mechanical parts, remove the jaw of the vise, and machine two M4 threaded holes. Two steel plates 2 with a thickness of 1.5mm are flush with the jaw, and then rivet a 0.8mm thick brass plate 3 with aluminum countersunk rivets to fasten it to the jaw with M4 countersunk screws 1 to form a durable soft jaw. This can also protect the parts from being damaged by clamping, and also has interchangeability.

2、 It is not convenient to use magnets to absorb small parts (waste parts) in the processing of mechanical parts. An iron plate 2 can be sucked under the magnet 1, which can not only suck many small pieces, but also pull the iron plate apart and the small pieces will automatically pour into the collection box immediately. Not enough to impress but very practical.

3、 During the transmission of the belt pulley in the machining of mechanical parts, the belt pulley often slips with the axle. Use a ¢ 15~18mm drill bit to cut a series of grooves on the axle, which can form an adsorption force to prevent slipping and turn waste into treasure.

4、 In the processing of mechanical parts, when the handle of the Allen wrench 1 is short and cannot exert force, the pipe with an inner diameter slightly larger than the wrench can be milled from a section of the groove, and the wrench can be inserted into the groove as a long handle.

In the processing of mechanical parts, there will be many workpieces that are not produced at one time, but when the workpieces are produced, they are just a rough model. If they leave the factory and become real products, they will also use some mechanical equipment for mechanical processing according to different product needs, so that they can finally become a product with use value.

In order to ensure the efficiency of machining and the quality of products produced, four principles must be followed when machining.

1. Benchmark first:

When using mechanical equipment to process products, a datum plane must be determined, so that there can be a positioning reference in subsequent processing. After the datum plane is determined, the datum plane must be processed first.

2. Division of processing stages:

When the product is machined, it needs to be processed to different degrees according to different product requirements. The degree of processing needs to be divided. If the precision is not high, a simple rough machining stage is OK. The product schedule requirements are becoming more and more strict, and the subsequent semi finishing and finishing stages will be carried out.

3. Face before hole:

When machining, for workpieces such as supports, they need both plane processing and mechanical hole processing. In order to reduce the accuracy error of the holes processed, machining the plane first and then the holes is conducive to reducing the error.

4. Finishing:

This processing principle roughly refers to some grinding and polishing processes, which are usually carried out after the product has completed the architecture.
