The Reasons For The Lathe Collision Of Imported CNC Lathes

Jul 23, 2022

First, the reason for the program itself. Imported CNC lathe processing manufacturers recommend that you do not write your own program and try to run it if the master has not carefully reviewed the program you have written. In the process of machining, when cutting a relatively deep groove at the end, after cutting, it is generally necessary to return to the tool change point according to the good steps. Beginners generally use GOO X100 Z100 habitually. If this is the case, there is only one result. , that is a collision, and the head and the handle are broken together. Because after the knife cuts the groove, the trajectory going back is an oblique line, which will cause the knife to hit.

In this case, to avoid collision, that is, after cutting, first withdraw from the X direction, and then withdraw from the Z direction, so that the collision will not be possible.

Imported CNC lathe processing manufacturers said that when cutting rod-shaped blanks, after cutting a section, there will generally be a small protrusion left in the middle, and there is generally a process of flat end face when cutting next time, which is affected by habits Before we use the cycle command to process, we usually only locate once. Generally, the maximum diameter of the GOO X blank plus 2CM Z20 is used to flatten the section. The general command used is G01 Z0. The next line X-1.5 is then processed directly, which will also cause a collision. It should not be influenced by habit, but should be positioned again.

It is recommended that you pay attention when using GOO when you first start programming. In fact, G00 is similar to G01, the difference is that G00 is fast movement, while G01 is feed movement.

Second, when setting the knife, when you input the data of each knife, you must see which knife it is in the end, and don't put it on the table, it will easily lead to the occurrence of the knife collision.

Third, imported CNC lathes process some relatively soft workpieces. After processing one side, it needs to be reversed to process the other side. When clamping with a chuck, it is easy to deform after clamping, which affects the processing of the other side, and the clamping is loose. Otherwise, it will fall off, and in that case, it is easy to hit the knife, and the workpiece will be scrapped.
