The process flow is a very important part of the production process. 1. Preparation of processing procedures
A processing procedure refers to a part of the processing process that one or more parts are processed continuously by an operator or a group of operators at a fixed work place or on a fixed processing machine. 2. Installation
The part of the process that the workpiece or assembly unit completes after one clamping is called the installation process. Sometimes, in the same process, the workpiece may need to be installed several times to achieve the final goal; It should be noted here that the number of installation times should be reduced as much as possible during the processing, so as to reduce the installation error and save more auxiliary time;
3. Step
When the machining surface of the part, the tools needed for machining, the rotational speed and the feed rate are unchanged, the part of the process that is completed continuously is called a step, which is the basic unit of the process;

4. Station
In order to complete a certain process, after a clamping, the workpiece, together with the movable part of the fixture containing the equipment, is relative to each position occupied by the fixed part of the tool and the equipment. For example, use the dividing head to mill a hexagonal body, and each rotation is a station;

5. Walking knife
In the same work step, if the machining amount is relatively large, it is necessary to use the same tool to make multiple cuts on the same machining surface at the same speed, and each cut is a tool feed.
