1. Machining process:
The machining process refers to the whole process of changing the shape, size, relative position and properties of the blank by machining to form a part.
Process: The part of the process that is continuously completed by one or a group of workers on the same or several workpieces at one work site
Four elements: work place, workers, parts, continuous operation.
