1、 Two methods for processing hardware parts:

Hardware processing methods include turning, milling, planing, grinding, pliers, stamping, casting, etc.

1. Stamping: The pre manufactured die shells are used for cold punching, and the key is to carry out sheet metal processing, that is, most of the processed materials are furniture sheets, and the processing effect is very high, suitable for batch production. The processing technology is divided into project die and continuous die. The project die is also called single cold die. Some complicated parts need several sets of die shells, while the continuous die splits the appearance of the commodity into several parts in one die shell in the concave mold of the injection mold, so that one stroke of the stamping machine processing is a finished product. The fast continuous punch can process 300 or 400 commodities per minute.

2. Lathe processing: Lathe belongs to high-precision processing mechanical equipment, which is divided into general lathe, full-automatic lathe, instrument panel lathe and computer lathe. It carries out rotary fitness movement after clamping raw materials, and tangential or radial processing is carried out by lathe tool. Nowadays, automatic lathes and computer lathes are more and more widely used.

Because these two types of processing are all automatic, the precision deviation formed by the actual operation of human factors is reduced to the lowest point, and the processing speed is faster for mass production. Nowadays, the vast majority of computer lathes are equipped with side rotary CNC inserts and reverse rotary CNC inserts, which means that cutting can also be carried out on lathes. The surface roughness of the lathe machining surface is about Ra0.4-1.6.

1. Sheet metal processing

The sheet metal mould is fast and cheap, and the delivery time is very short. Sheet metal can be a good substitute for injection molding plastics for internal structural components, because it provides greater flexibility in the early stages of the design process when the product may still change or the product prediction is not clear.

2. CNC machining

CNC is a cost-effective solution for machining parts with complex shapes and strict tolerances. CNC precision machining can process almost any shape, as long as the rotating cutting tool can access the material.

3. Turning

Turning process includes cutting, end face, thread, forming, drilling, knurling and boring. For the surface processing of hardware parts, turning is usually a good choice if you want to have precision bearing surfaces in complex machines.

4. EDM

Wire electrical discharge machining (EDM) is a high precision technology, which can cut almost any conductive material. The thin strip EDM wire installed between the two mechanical guides forms one electrode, while the material being cut forms another electrode. The discharge between two electrodes (wire and workpiece) will produce a spark to cut the material. As the live wire never touches the workpiece in EDM processing, this process can be used to manufacture very small and precise parts, which require precision and complexity that cannot be achieved by traditional processing.
