Ti-62222s titanium alloy with high strength and toughness is used in the key parts of the rotating shaft of the horizontal stabilizer of C-17 aircraft. The rear fuselage area and tail heat shield of the F-22 aircraft engine are designed as titanium alloy thin-walled structures, with good temperature resistance.
Due to the excellent performance of titanium alloy materials, some key parts of aircraft are also made of titanium alloy materials. For example, the inlet lip is a part made of titanium alloy by 3D printing, which realizes the integrated design and manufacturing of structural parts and functional parts.
