Compared with other thermal cutting methods, laser cutting technology has the characteristics of fast cutting speed, accurate cutting precision and high quality. Its specific processing characteristics are as follows:


1. Good cutting quality

The laser spot of laser cutting is small, its energy density is high, and the cutting speed is fast. Therefore, better cutting quality can be obtained in the process of laser cutting.

(1) The laser cutting incision is generally thin and narrow. Both sides of the cutting seam are parallel and perpendicular to the surface. The dimensional accuracy of the cutting parts can reach ± 0.05mm.

(2) The cutting surface is smooth and beautiful, and the surface roughness can be guaranteed to be tens of microns. In many cases, laser cutting can be used as the last process, and the parts cut by laser can be used directly.

(3) After laser cutting, the width of the heat affected zone of the material is very small, and the performance of the material near the slit is hardly affected. Moreover, the workpiece deformation is small, the cutting accuracy is high, the geometry of the cutting seam is good, and the cross-section shape of the cutting seam presents a relatively regular rectangle.


2. High cutting efficiency

Laser has transmission characteristics. When the laser cutting machine is equipped with multiple CNC worktables, the whole cutting process can be numerically controlled. At this time, it only needs to change the CNC program, which is suitable for cutting parts with different shapes, but it can realize two-dimensional cutting or three-dimensional cutting.

3. Less cutting pollution

During laser cutting, the cutting torch will not directly contact the workpiece, so there is no wear on tools. For processing parts with different shapes, there is no need to replace the "tool", which can be achieved only by changing the output parameters of the laser. Therefore, in the process of laser cutting, the wear rate of the equipment is low, and in the process of use, the noise is low, the vibration is small, and there is no pollution.


4. Fast cutting speed

If the carbon steel plate is laser cut, assuming that the steel plate is 2mm thick and the laser cutting power is 1200W, the cutting speed can reach 15000px / min. Materials do not need to be clamped and fixed during laser cutting, which can not only save tooling fixtures, but also save the auxiliary time of loading and unloading.
