Imported CNC lathe processing will input the detection result into the controller, and the tool arc radius compensation will be used for turning processing. If the arc of the tool is not a perfect circle or there is an error between the detected arc radius and the center, it will cause the shape error of the workpiece. The edge ripple will affect the surface roughness of the workpiece. When imported CNC lathes are processed, cutting fluid is often supplied to reduce the temperature of the cutting point and take away chips. In diamond turning, cutting fluid is mostly supplied by oil mist (cutting oil is sprayed with high-pressure air). Therefore, the angle of the nozzle and the flow and speed of oil and gas will affect the cooling and chip removal effect. The most common situation is that the chips accumulate on the diamond cutting edge and rub against the surface of the material to be cut, which has a great impact on the surface roughness of the workpiece. In order to avoid the situation of chip accumulation or even curling during the cutting process, a chip collecting device can be added. The principle of the chip collecting device is to use high pressure air to blow into the chip collecting pipe to make it generate a vacuum state. The use of the chip collecting device will disturb the air near the cutting point, and the chip collecting pipe will also vibrate due to the gas flow, which will cause the machine to vibrate and affect the surface roughness of the workpiece. Therefore, in addition to paying attention to the chip collecting effect when using the chip collecting device in the processing of imported CNC lathes, it is also necessary to pay attention to the influence caused by air disturbance and vibration.
