1. It should be a single storey building and set independently. If the plant is a multi-storey building structure, the frame structure should be adopted, and ensure that it has a sufficient area of explosion vent to effectively vent the explosion in the event of explosion.
At the same time, the plant should also meet the following requirements:
(1) The structural strength of the plant building shall be able to withstand the impact of dust explosion.
(2) Single storey design should be adopted for the plant building, and the roof of single storey building should adopt light structure.
2. Explosion proof electrical equipment must be used for all electrical equipment in production sites with aluminum and magnesium dust explosion hazards.
3. A relatively independent dust collection system should be set up according to the process, and the dust collector should be set outside the building, with explosion relief devices and rain proof measures. The recovered aluminum magnesium dust should be stored in an independent dry stacking place.
4. All places where dust is generated should be equipped with dust hoods to avoid dust flying in the air, and the general manager in charge should not have dust deposition, so as to avoid the impact on product quality during processing.
5. Establish a strict cleaning system, and clean all production workshops and storage rooms that may accumulate dust in time every shift. When storing bulk aluminum magnesium powder that can spontaneously ignite, waterproof and rainproof measures should be taken, and the powder temperature should be continuously monitored; When the temperature rises or the gas is separated out, the powder cooling measures must be taken.
6. Personnel working in the aluminum magnesium dust explosion hazard area need to wear work hats and pants made of flame retardant materials in accordance with the safety code. Avoid dust and explosion damage to the health of workers.
