Typical application: PCD tools can be used for high-speed machining of non-ferrous metals. When processing non-ferrous metals, due to the high hardness of diamond and the small affinity between the surface and metal, the dimensional stability and surface quality of the machining are very good, and the tool life is also long.
2. PCD woodworking cutter
The durability of PCD woodworking tools is more than 100 times that of cemented carbide tools, which can completely replace cemented carbide tools. Other PCD woodworking tools mainly include PCD saw blades, forming milling cutters, etc. However, due to the high price, domestic application is less.
3. PCBN metal cutting tool
The material of PCBN metal cutting tool is cubic boron nitride. Although its hardness is not as high as that of diamond, it is the hardest tool material that can be used to work harden ferrous metals at present.
