The rigidity of the boring bar has a certain influence on the quality of the boring hole. The slender boring bar will cause vibration during processing. Therefore, when using the cantilever boring bar, the shorter and larger diameter boring bar should be selected as much as possible. When the boring tool is clamped on the boring bar, it should extend as little as possible, but it should be noted that the extended length of the cutting edge should meet the machining allowance and be conducive to chip removal. The tail protruding part of the boring tool should be smaller than the protruding part of the tool nose, otherwise it will affect the boring process. When choosing a carbide boring tool for CNC machine tools, you should pay attention to the grade of carbide, otherwise it will cause abnormal wear of the tool, resulting in rough hole wall or uneven hole diameter and taper.

The perpendicularity of the vertical milling machine spindle to the table surface affects the cylindricity of the hole. The accuracy of the support bearing of the horizontal milling machine bracket will affect the rotation accuracy of the tool holder, thereby affecting the dimensional accuracy and cylindricity of the hole. The stability of the feed of the worktable will affect the surface roughness of the hole wall, and in severe cases it will affect the dimensional accuracy of the hole.
